This year to business selected for the award was a family affair ! Brooke Kuntz Accounting shares her office space with the family business Kuntz Meatz, bringing quality beef products from their farm to your table. The Kuntz children, Hunter & Hadley also help with their own business enterprise of selling cookies on Sidewalk Saturdays outside their Mom's office ! Congratulations and thank you for making Trego County your home and operating your businesses here.
Community Citizen Award also Announced
The Trego Chamber also recognized the Community Citizen of The Year at the banquet. The Citizen of the Year is that person who is quietly working hard in the background to make things happen. This year's awardee was Christine Miller, who for years has organized and grown the vendor base of home based businesses for the Annual Tree Lighting and The Buzzard Bash. This is no small feat and Christine does it with finesse and a smile for years. Well done and well deserved !

WaKeeney Main Street welcomes new businesses
WaKeeney Main Street organization took a few moments to recognize several new businesses who have opened their doors since last years banquet. WaKeeney Main Street welcomed, The Unique Bouquet, Rachelle's Dance Studio, Grow From Faith Massage, The Locale, Goff Gypsum & Remodeling, Pfannenstiel Law, and opening soon, High Plains Dance Academy.
Local Talents Shared and Enjoyed By All
Leap of Faith Catering shared their talents and brought everyone attending a delicious meal of prime rib and all the fixings! Thank you, John, Darla & Ean Mong, the food was excellent and no one left hungry. After dinner attendees were entertained by local musicians, Myah Mattheyer and Alex Cleland. "Take Two" played some classic rock and got the room jumping with lots of energy. There was even some couples who got up and danced along.Thank You Trego Chamber of Commerce
